boolean matches(DBEvent event,
                DBObject base)
         throws java.lang.Exception

Determines if the base object details matches a custom validation

Parameters:

event - - The event that has been raised

base - - Base object to validate

Returns:

boolean - Returning FALSE will cause the validation to fail and will result in a ValidationItem being created based on the associated DBMessage

Throws:

java.lang.Exception - - A serious error

getSummary

java.lang.String getSummary(DBEvent event)

Returns a summary of the validation

Parameters:

event - - The event that the validation is for

Returns:

String - A short description of the validation
